Our Staff

All of our lovely ladies have been specially chosen to care for and educate your children on a daily basis and make their earliest years the happiest ones.
Come and meet us.

The best way to learn about our nursery and the care we provide is to come and see for yourself. Whilst we operate an open door policy and you should feel free to pop in to our nursery at any time, it is a great idea to contact one of the senior management team to arrange a time when they can show you our facilities in depth.

It is our staff that add the special magic to your child's day and therefore our educators are selected very carefully having successfully completed a rigorous recruitment process.

All our educators hold an enhanced DBS check

Educators are trained in paediatric first aid

All room leaders have at least a level 3 childcare qualification

All educators have safeguarding/child protection knowledge

Training is on going for all staff

Settling sessions are a lovely way of introducing your child and your family to the nursery and adults gradually.
Settling sessions are held before joining nursery, this is a fantastic opportunity to build strong, friendly relationships with the grown ups that you and your explorers will come into contact with at Little Explorers.  Settling sessions are a time for you and your child to come along, play and tell our educators about your home routines and preferences.
Each child at Little Explorers is assigned a key person. The role of a key person is to  ensure that every child’s care is tailored to meet their individual needs. They also help that child become familiar with the setting, offering a settled relationship for the child and build a relationship with their parents/carers.
